How to share a Tweet on Instagram Stories

We know people share Tweets to their communities on other social media apps, and we’ve made it easier for people to share Tweets on Instagram Stories.

Step 1

Make sure you have the Instagram app installed on your device. Log into your account.

Step 2

Open up Twitter for iOS app. Tap the share icon on a public Tweet.
Note: A protected Tweet cannot be shared.

Step 3

Tap the Instagram icon.

Step 4

Your Twitter for iOS app will close, and a new Story draft on your Instagram app will open.

Step 5

The Tweet you want to share will appear as a moveable and resizable sticker to share on Instagram Stories.

Step 6

You can share the Tweet with a single person, a group, or all of your followers.
